Letters to the Editor
Level of presentation:
Our audience includes engineers, scientists, and managers in
universities, industry, and government laboratories. Our readers
come from diverse backgrounds in materials science and related
disciplines such as physics, chemistry, and various engineering
specializations. Authors should avoid using jargon; and terms
unfamiliar to the nonspecialist should be omitted or explained
clearly.
Letters chosen for publication will appear
in the first available issue.
Format of submission:
Preferably by e-mail to bulletin@mrs.org or 3.5" Macintosh
disk using Microsoft Word or converted to ASCII. A hardcopy should
be faxed to Elizabeth Fleischer, Editor 724-779-8313. By providing
the article electronically, the time required to prepare the
article for publication will be reduced (by eliminating retyping)
and the possibility of errors will especially be reduced. If
it is not possible to submit the article electronically or by
fax, a hard copy should be sent to Elizabeth Fleischer, MRS
Bulletin, Materials Research Society, 506 Keystone Drive,
Warrendale, PA 15086-7573.
