Supporting Files

  • Preferred format: High-resolution, press-optimized PDF file
  • Acceptable formats: QuarkXpress (include all supporting files and fonts along with page layout file); Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator. High-resolution EPS, JPG or TIF files also acceptable.
  • Continuous tone images: 266 ppi
  • Vector images: 1200 ppi

Color

  • Define 4-color and spot color (PMS) in digital documents
  • Indicate spot color on the laser proof
  • Provide laser proofs of color separations

Compression

  • Create self-extracting archives only
  • Do not use LZW or JPEG

Laser Proofs

  • Accurate, 100% size laser proofs must accompany digital files

Mechanical Production

  • Right reading negatives, emulsion side down
  • All film should have color identification and registration marks
