View list of symposia offering tutorials

Available to meeting attendees at no charge, tutorials can introduce a new or rapidly breaking area of research, highlight new developments in an older field, or provide an overview for those unfamiliar with the topic. They are designed to encourage the exchange of information by meeting attendees during the symposium.

The following symposia offered tutorials at the 2005 MRS Spring Meeting:

Symposium A

STA: Thin-Film Silicon Materials and Devices for Large-Area Flexible Electronics

STB: Wafer Level Packaging─Materials, Process, and Reliability

STE: Semiconductor Heterojunctions ─ Properties and Photoelectronic Characterization

STF: Young Scientist Tutorial on Characterization Techniques for Thin-Film Solar Cells

STG: High-Permittivity Dielectrics and High-Mobility Semiconductors for Advanced Field-Effect Transistors

STI: Device Physics, Charge Transport, Applications, and Processing in Organic Electronics

STJ: BioMEMS─Materials, Fabrication, and Devices

STO: Stresses at the Micro- and Nanoscale─Novel Testing and Characterization Techniques

STU: Carbon Nanotube-Based Nanotechnology

STW: Recent Advances in Chemical Mechanical Planarization Technology
