The Society presented Gold and Silver Graduate Student Awards at the 2004 Spring Meeting to graduate students who authored or co-authored symposium papers which exemplified significant and timely research. (Find out more about MRS Graduate Student Awards)
All finalists received a Gold or Silver Award on Wednesday evening during the Plenary Session/Awards Ceremony. Finalists also received a complimentary meeting registration, and a one-year MRS student membership commencing July 1, 2004. The award prizes consist of $400 and a presentation plaque for the Gold Awards and $200 and a certificate for the Silver Awards.
