Registration Information
Register via the MRS Web site, e-mail, fax, phone, or mail by Friday, November 9, to take advantage of the preregistration rates: $360 for MRS members; $425 for nonmembers; $75 for student MRS members; $85 for student nonmembers; and $105 for retired attendees.
(Registration fees after November 9 will be $400 for MRS members; $465 for nonmembers; $85 for student MRS members; $95 for student nonmembers; and $105 for retired attendees.)
Registration confirmations will be mailed within 10 working days beginning late September.
Payment must accompany registration.

All paid registrants for the 2001
MRS Fall Meeting will receive complimentary MRS membership through
December 2002.

Take advantage of the speed and convenience of online
preregistration via the MRS Web site. Web registration
requires credit card payment and must be submitted by 11:00 p.m.
EST, November 9, 2001, to be eligible for preregistration rates.

please have the preregistration

5:00 p.m. EST on Friday, November 9.

Symposium Tutorial Attendance
Tutorials are open to all meeting
attendees at no extra charge. Tutorial notes are optional at
$30 (complete the Tutorial Notes section on the preregistration
form). Cost for notes will increase to $40 after the preregistration
deadline of November 9. Preordered tutorial notes will be available
at the Tutorial Notes Desk on the second level of the Hynes Convention
Center from 8:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. Sunday, November 25; a limited
supply of tutorial notes will be available for on-site purchase
in Publications Sales at the Hynes Convention Center beginning
at 8:30 a.m.
Cancellation
To cancel your registration, you
must notify MRS in writing of your request for a refund.
Refunds will be made, less a $25 service charge, upon receipt
of your written notice. If you apply a portion of this refund
to member dues or any MRS publications, the service charge will
be waived. MRS will not honor requests made more than
one calendar month after the close of the meeting. In case of
cancellation, the fee for the tutorial notes will not be refundable;
notes will be forwarded after the meeting.
