Meet Your Next Employee!
The well-targeted audience at the MRS Employment Center provides an opportunity to meet qualified metallurgists, chemists, physicists, ceramists and other researchers and engineers from a wide range of scientific backgrounds. The following Employment Center options are available to aid in your hiring needs:

  • Recruitment Booth
    Registration: $895 for 3-day rental
    Provides personal meeting space and display area (8' x 8'), direct access to job candidates and resumes, job announcement postings, and on-site interviews. Advance registration is required. SPACE IS LIMITED.
  • Employment Center -- Post Jobs and Interview On Site
    Registration Rates:
    MRS Corporate Affiliates: Free before Thursday, November 8, 2001 deadline; $125 after deadline
    Exhibitors: $175 before Thursday, November 8, 2001 deadline; $200 after deadline
    Others: $200 before Thursday, November 8, 2001 deadline; $225 after deadline
    Post job announcements, access resumes, and interview job candidates on site.
  • Job Posting Only
    1-3 job postings: $60
    4-6 job postings: $80
    7-15 job postings: $110
    Over 15 job postings: priced by available space
    Post job announcements -- job candidates will contact you directly.
  • Resume Book
    $250 -- Contains information on all registered job candidates. Books are mailed after the conference.

If you are unable to attend this meeting, you may still recruit potential employees by posting job announcements and/or purchasing a Resume Book. All employers are encouraged to register online at http://www.aip.org/careersvc/centers_e.html.

Meet Your Next Employer!
We'll show off your talents to the world's most prestigious high-tech firms, universities and laboratories. At the Center, you can access hundreds of job postings, visit employment booths and interview with prospective employers. Please bring at least 25 copies of your 1-3 page resume for distribution. If you are unable to attend the Fall Meeting, we will still gladly represent you. Just provide us with five copies of your resume, along with a cover letter stating your citizenship and willingness to relocate. Be certain to reference the 2001 MRS Fall Meeting.

The Employment Center is FREE of charge to all MRS members seeking employment. Candidates are urged to register online in advance of the meeting at http://www.aip.org/careersvc/centers_e.html; candidates may also register on site during times noted below.

Tuesday, November 27 -- 11:30 a.m. - 6:30 p.m.
Wednesday, November 28 -- 9:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Thursday, November 29 -- 9:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Advance registrations and requests must be received by Thursday, November 8, 2001.
