To become a sponsor of the MRS Entrepreneurship Challenge, please contact us at entrepreneurs@mrs.org and include your company name as you wish it to appear on this Web site along with a graphic file containing your company logo.
Levels of Sponsorship
Diamond Sponsorship ($5K) A total of four sponsors are sought at this level. Diamond sponsors receive the following benefits:
- Invitation to the 2005 MRS Fall Meeting information session with interested researchers and competition entrants. Invitation to the 2006 MRS Spring Meeting private dinner with competition finalists. Access to entry presentations and resumes of team leaders (upon completion of the competition).
- Prominent logo display on MRS Entrepreneurship Challenge announcements, advertising materials and the competition website; acknowledgement during the final awards ceremony.
Sapphire Sponsorship ($1K) An unlimited number of organizations are invited to participate at this level. Sapphire sponsors receive the following benefits:
What Your Sponsorship Will Fund
Your sponsorship helps fund the operating expenses associated with the competition (e.g., software needed to run the competition, advertisements, telephone calls by task force members), as well as the following benefits for participants:
- Grand Prize of $3,000.
- Meeting registration plus travel funding of up to $3,000 per team for the three semi-finalist teams to present their entries at the 2006 MRS Spring Meeting in San Francisco, CA. Celebratory dinner for semi-finalists, judges, sponsors, mentors, and competition task force members at the 2006 MRS Spring Meeting.
- Introductory session for team members, sponsors, mentors, and competition task force members at the 2005 MRS Fall Meeting.
